Children & Youth

  Children & Youth

Sundays from 10:15-10:45 AM
Church for our children is an amazing event for children kindergarten through 6th grade. Every child has the opportunity to interact with scripture through hands-on activities and crafts. Children's Church meets after the Children’s Time in the 10:00am worship service (about 10:15) downstairs in the Noah’s Ark Room. For more information, email our Associate Pastor,
Angie Blattner.

Sundays from 10:45-11:15 AM
We have the most amazing Children's Music Director, Susanna Jacobson! She comes to us with lots of knowledge and experience in directing both children and adults, and is a new addition to our choir! Children's Choir meets every Sunday from 10:45-11:15am. Susanna will get the children from their Children's Church classroom, and bring them to the Children's Choir classroom (down the hall in the Garden of Eden room in the education wing). For more information contact, Susanna Jacobson.

The nursery is available Sunday mornings (for infants 8 weeks old to toddler ages) from 9:00-11:00 AM, or anytime upon request. You will love the open and airy “Winnie-the-Pooh” nursery room. If you would like the nursery at any other time, please email
Pastor Angie.

All of our staff and volunteers working with children and youth have received background checks and we practice safe sanctuary procedures. Your child is sure to leave here smiling!

Our Youth Group is THE DREAM! Together, we laugh, serve and experience God in many different ways. We meet every Sunday (usually from 11:30 AM – 1 PM) and lunch is always provided. We hope you'll join us!

Core Values for Youth Ministry

Intentional Individual Discipleship

We believe in the importance of mentors and leaders entering into each student's story and journeying with them on their personal walk with Christ. This means meeting with them outside of the usual Sunday mornings and youth group evenings, going into their homes, attending their extra curricular events, and sharing meals with them.

Authenticity All Around
We believe if students are going to be able to be their true, authentic selves in our community, we as leaders and mentors need to practice authenticity with them and with each other. Everyone is expected to work at unmasking their false selves and trusting that this is a safe place to practice vulnerability.

Holistic Gospel Transformation
We believe that the Gospel of Jesus Christ can and will transform every aspect  of our students lives: spiritually, relationally, emotionally, and physically. As each student grows deeper in their relationship with Christ, this sanctification will affect them on a holistic basis and will transform every area of their life (including school, extracurricular, family and friends).

Celebrating Diversity
We believe in not only unconditionally loving, but celebrating each student as a unique image bearer of Christ. This is especially imperative to do during their tender and difficult years as a student. We want to embrace, explore and exalt each student and their individual giftings, wirings and uniqueness.

Integration of Grace and Truth
We follow the example of Christ by holding grace and truth in a delicate balance. We believe that ministry is meeting people where they are (grace) and journeying with them to where God wants them to be (truth).
